Evaluating Fertility Clinic Techniques And Outcomes
Couples considering IVF can also evaluate the best fertility clinic for them when they have a thorough understanding of the techniques, technologies, and outcome results of any programs that they are considering.
For example, at AFCC, our goal is to achieve the highest live birth success rates possible, while minimizing risks of multiple pregnancy, particularly high-order multiples . In our extensive experience, we find that this is best accomplished by optimizing all laboratory and embryo culture systems, and by being cautious with the number of embryos transferred. Blastocyst embryo transfer is a technique that allows us to reduce multiple pregnancy risks while improving the odds of achieving successful implantation and pregnancy. How To Increase Your Chance Of Having A Successful Ivf Outcome
The best way to increase the success of IVF is by having the procedures done at a reputable IVF program. There are important differences in success rates between clinics. For example, if you go to the CDC or SART sites, you will find clinics with IVF live birth success rates ranging from below 10% to over 60% per egg retrieval procedure for women under age 35.
Fertility clinics are required by federal law to report their success rates, however, some clinics do not do this. When researching a fertility clinic, ask them for their recent IVF success rate statistics in writing and then check their numbers on the CDC and/or SART reports.
These issues are critical and you have the right to know the information beforehand. You should ask for data like that presented above regarding IVF pregnancy success rates, live birth rates, multiple pregnancy rates, and fertility care techniques from any clinic you are considering for IVF. All IVF programs have the capability of providing this information in writing. If they refuse or make excuses, it is a sign that you should work with a different fertility clinic.
However, its also important to keep in mind that a comparison of clinic success rates may not be meaningful because patient medical characteristics, treatment approaches, and entrance criteria for ART may vary from clinic to clinic.
What Other Factors Affect IVF Success Rates?
These are all important points to keep in mind when reviewing IVF success rates.
Research Ivf Success Rates Before Choosing A Fertility Clinic
If your treatment includes in vitro fertilization, you need assurance that you have the highest chance of achieving your goal of bringing a new life into your family. The vast majority of fertility clinics report their success rates to the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology and CDC, making it easier for prospective parents to make an educated decision when choosing a fertility clinic. Ultimately, many patients will try to find a fertility clinic that has a demonstrated high live birth IVF success rate.

Attention to detail is on a 1 – 10 scale, and is scored based on the rate, and severity, of errors committed by the clinic according to the patients.
For example, a severe error might be failing to inform a patient of critical information, while a small error might be failing to call a patient with results.
How Much Does Ivf With A Donor Egg Cost
Our current cost for a complete egg donation cycle is $27,000. This includes the donors fee of $7,000 to $9,000 and $400 for short term medical insurance for the donor.
The cost of donor egg IVF varies greatly at different IVF centers. Some clinics charge over $30,000 without medications for a single donor cycle. Be sure that you understand all of the costs involved before starting the process.
- Donor medication costs are additional and usually cost about $3000-5000
- The recipient woman also needs medications cost is usually about $800-1000
This is a cash discounted cost for couples paying in advance. We do not do insurance billing for cash discounted cycles. The undiscounted fee for an egg donation cycle is about 5% higher. This package includes all monitoring and procedures, for the egg donor and the recipient.

Full Fees Vs Cash Discounted Fees
All in vitro fertilization costs listed on this page reflect cash discounts and are paid in advance unless we have a written statement from an insurance company saying that they will pay.
Cash discounted IVF costs are for couples without fertility insurance coverage, or those that prefer to pay in advance and submit their own billing to insurance.
Insurance companies do not accept a package price for IVF . Because insurance is billed by individual procedure, the total billed depends on what is done during the IVF cycle.
The total billed to insurance for the IVF-related codes is about $8000 at our center. The total billed for ovarian stimulation monitoring for IVF is about $2000.

Information About Group Practices
What is a Group Practice?
According to The Medical Group Management Association, a group practice is any relationship between three or more physicians who share facilities, expenses, profits and other resources like support staff and equipment. Group practices tend to fall into two categories: those that organize around a particular medical specialty and those that encompass several specialties like East Boston Neighborhood Health that specializes in internal medicine
Why Group Practice?
As medicine became more complex in the twentieth century, the need for group practices made more sense. Physicians found it impossible to know everything about the emerging drugs and technologies on the medical landscape. In addition, the cost of providing a full range of diagnostic services, such as tests and X-rays, in one location became prohibitive to the individual practitioner. Hence, doctors from various disciplines began to team together in order to provide more comprehensive care to their community of patients.
