The Chicago Department of Aviation and Alaska Airlines are announcing that effective Thursday, March 14, 2019, Alaska will relocate its operations from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 at O’Hare International Airport, including ticketing, check-in, gate assignments and baggage claim.

Alaska passengers are advised to check in at Terminal 2, and to claim luggage at Baggage Carousel 1 on the lower level. Alaska’s flights will now operate from gates G4 and G6 located on the G Concourse.

The changes will also be applied on the CDA’s website, www.FlyChicago.com. Alaska will notify its customers in advance by email and will have staff and signage at its ticket counters in Terminal 3 during the transition to redirect passengers to Terminal 2.

Alaska Airlines currently operates 10 daily departures from O’Hare. Its relocation to Terminal 2 was planned in conjunction with the opening of the L Concourse extension last year, which delivered O’Hare’s first new gates in 25 years.
