Interior Construction Begins On Bank Of Americas Flagship Chicago Office
Skender recently started interior construction of the 536,000-square-foot office relocation for Bank of Americas downtown Chicago offices. In addition to naming rights for the 56-story high-rise, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based financial institution will move into 17 floors of the new tower.
Serving as general contractor, Skender is collaborating with Interior Architects and JLL to complete the project with delivery beginning in Q4 of 2020. The Class A tower, perched along the Chicago River, was co-developed by Howard Hughes Corp. and Riverside Investment & Development and designed by Goettsch Partners. When completed, Bank of America Tower will be the citys tallest new office building in 30 years.
Relocating from its current Chicago location at 135 S. LaSalle, close to half of the downtown BofA employees will move to the Bank of America Tower at 110 N. Wacker. BofAs new space will include private offices, open workstation areas, conference rooms, work cafe/pantries, support space and other modern workplace amenities. Unique features include a trading floor, a barista bar and market cafe and two dedicated outdoor terraces. In addition, the interior will include an internal monument staircase connecting a two-floor conference center/executive suite.

Application For A Non
Individuals not eligible for a guaranteed entry were able to apply for a 2022 Bank of America Chicago Marathon entry through the non-guaranteed entry drawing application. The opportunity to apply for a non-guaranteed entry closed at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30.
At the conclusion of the six-week application window, names will be selected from the full pool of non-guaranteed entry applications. Submitting multiple applications will not increase your chances of receiving an entry. Prior to the drawing, the event will remove all duplicate applications.
Applicants will be notified via email of their entry status on Thursday, December 9. If an applicant receives an entry through the drawing, the entry fee is automatically processed.
Individuals who apply for, but do not receive an entry through the drawing, may still register by opting to run for select official charities or tour groups.
Grant Park Spectator Access
Spectators will not have access to the race start and finish areas within Grant Park on race day. These areas will be accessible only to participants displaying their event-issued bib numbers, event staff with proper credentials, and ticketed guests . Family, friends and individuals who are not registered for the race will not be able to escort runners to the start line or greet runners at the finish line.
We recommend that spectators support runners from elsewhere on the course and meet runners after the race in designated areas within Grant Park.
The 27th Mile Post Race Party and Runner Reunite area of Grant Park will open to spectators at 9:30 a.m. To access this area, spectators must pass through security and bag screening at Entrance Gate #1 or Entrance Gate #4 .
Spectators are encouraged to wear face coverings in Grant Park and along the 26.2-mile course route.
