Carolyn I Jacob Md Faad
Carolyn I. Jacob, M.D. is a Board-Certified Dermatologist, Harvard-Trained Cosmetic and Laser Surgeon, and an Associate Clinical Instructor at Northwesterns Feinberg School of Medicine. She is the Founder and Medical Director of Chicago Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatology in Chicagos River North neighborhood.
Dr. Jacob is a High Honors graduate of Indiana University with a B.S. In Biology, and attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine where she was in the top 10 of her class. After completing an internship in internal medicine at Northwesterns Evanston Hospital, she was Chief Resident of Dermatology at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics, and completed a prestigious Cosmetic and Laser Surgery Fellowship at Harvard Medical School.
When she is not working or lecturing, she enjoys spending time with her three children and very understanding husband.

Certain skin conditions are more common in darker-skinned people, such as vitiligo and keloid scars, and require a specialized treatment approach. We perform laser hair removal, laser resurfacing and other light therapies on darker-skinned patients.

Book your appointment with our Permanent Makeup Artist, Sarah Post! Sarah was raised in the southwest Chicago suburbs and has recently moved to Vernon Hills. She received her Esthetics License from Hair Professionals in Palos Hills, IL and has been a Licensed Esthetician since 2010. Sarah received her Microblading Certification from Esthetic World Beauty in Norridge, IL. Prior to that, she worked as a Teacher Assistant at a Special Education school.
Sarah has been performing microblading since 2017 and has done over 200 microblading treatments and counting! Since finding her passion in the art of lashes and brows, she believes in customizing lashes and brows to a persons face and personality, rather than a one size fits all approach. Her greatest achievement and favorite part of what she does is being able to see how happy a patient is after shes transformed their brows! Her patients love her warm, genuine, calming, and friendly personality.
