Chicago Pd Season 7 Episode 15 Review: Burden Of Truth

Part two of the #OneChicago crossover continued on Chicago PD Season 7 Episode 15.
While the crossover wasn’t nearly as compelling the earlier crossover in the fall — which found Chicago’s best battling a man-made disease — it found a way to bring these two squads back together again.
In Jessica’s review of Chicago Fire Season 8 Episode 15, she mentioned that the crossover didn’t find a cohesive way to meld these two shows, but I found that the transition between them was so seamless, it was hard to tell where Chicago Fire ended and PD began.
However, I have to agree with her on the plot holes concerning Brian Geraghty’s return as Sean Roman.
It was nice to see him again, but it was random, especially as his character’s approach to the whole situation was a little troubling from the get-go. Everything he did went against his police training.
It wasn’t the Roman we’ve come to know and love, and while it’s understandable that he’s changed or toughened up since leaving the force, it was a difficult adjustment to accept.
Finding his sister was his top priority, but at what expense? Roman was putting himself in danger, he put Severide in danger in the first part of the crossover, and it wasn’t how an ex-cop, much less a good ex-cop, would ever act.
Though, I’m glad Roman’s desire to keep Intelligence away from the case had nothing to do with his fallout with Burgess.
While it wasn’t a fool-proof reason, it worked.
It was obvious that Roman was behind Logan Peters’ murder.

The First Episode Of The One Chicago Crossover Sees Cruz Go Undercover How Does He Deal On Chicago Fire Season 7 Episode 15
Feb. 20 was all about the two-hour One Chicago crossover on NBC. Chicago Fire Season 7, Episode 15 kicked off the crossover with Cruz going undercover for Voight. Just how did it go and what did it set up for Chicago PD?
It all started with an apartment fire. When Firehouse 51 is called out, Boden gets the note theres a lockbox. All should be fine, except that Casey realizes the keys arent there. Fortunately, Firehouse 51 gets everyone out of the burning building and this sets up the story.
Firehouse 66 turns up to the call late, sharing that they would have been there sooner had it not been for a heart attack victim. They were also the ones there to check on the lockbox a month earlier and the keys were there. So, where are they now?

Not The First Missing Keys
The Intelligence Unit soon shares that this isnt the first time keys from lockboxes have gone missing. Of course, Chief Grissom isnt happy that the CFD is being accused of stealing the keys, even when Voight and Halstead share that Firehouse 66 has been called to each of the fires involving the lockboxes when the keys have been stolen so the keys could be put back.
Cruz goes undercover, despite his brother making it clear that its a bad idea, and he gets to know each of the members. Each one seems to have something suspicious about them, especially the lieutenant. However, Cruz writes each of them off, especially the lieutenant who is just struggling with the fact his wifes cancer is back.
Just as it looks like its all over, Cruz sees one of the guys hed written off early going to the truck. Cruz had already noticed the truck had a stolen lockbox and Cruz watches as the thief passes the lockbox onto someone late at night.

‘chicago Fire’ Season 7 Episode 15 Spoiler: ‘chicago Pd’ Crossover Brings A Firefighter Problem
NBC’s much-awaited crossovers between Chicago Fire and Chicago PD are finally airing! While this is good news to the fans of the show, it won’t particularly be great news for the members of Firehouse 51.
Chicago Fire season 7 episode 15 delivers the first part of the crossover special. Airing on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 9:00 p.m., the episode, titled What I Saw, will spell trouble for someone at the firehouse.
According to the episode synopsis, a series of robberies will come to light on Chicago Fire season 7 episode 15 when the firehouse lockbox key is discovered lost. This necessitates a visit from the Chicago PD, where Officer Hank Voight suspects it is an inside job. So, he asks Joe Cruz to go undercover and find out if anyone in the firehouse is behaving suspiciously.
The second part of the crossover, titled Good Men, will continue at 10:00 with the airing of Chicago PD season 6 episode 15 on the same night. Based on what Cruz tells the cops in Chicago Fire season 7 episode 15, Voight tries his best to close the case without tarnishing a firefighter’s reputation, especially when the one likely involved with the robberies was murdered, as per the episode listing.
According to Cinema Blend, however, the robbery suspect isn’t within the Chicago Fire family whom viewers love. So, while it looks like someone from the team may be interesting to the police, in the beginning, it will all be ironed out in the conclusion of the crossover episodes.

Firehouse 51 Without Cruz
Cruz is caught out but by that point, Intelligence has enough to arrest him. From that point, its over to Chicago PD for the rest of the storyline.
As for Chicago Fire, the episode was more on how Firehouse 51 struggled without Cruz, while seeing Cruz acting undercover. We got to see how sweet of a guy Cruz is, trying to see the best in everyone and struggling with his undercover mission I hope the rest of 51 learn why he was really sent to 66!
Severide clearly wasnt happy about the decision to send Cruz. While initially on Truck, Cruz has become one of the most reliable members of Squad 3. I do feel for Capp when Severide shouted at him, but this moment showed the team player and how passionate about his job is that Cruz is. Theres no way the team could lose him for good!

Chicago Fire continues Wednesdays at 9/8c on NBC.

Whats Happening In The Chicago Fire Crossover Episode Find Out About This Week With The Chicago Fire Season 7 Episode 15 Synopsis And Teaser
The next Chicago Fire crossover with Chicago PD is here, and its going to be more than a little uncomfortable, according to NBCs official description of the episode and the promo that theyve released this week.
Wednesdays installment What I Saw kicks off a two-hour event between the two shows, and thanks to the new Chicago Fire time slot, audiences will get to see the whole story on the same night. But it could get awkward, because the cops are convinced that a firefighter is part of the latest problem.
Is that going to mean somebody at Firehouse 51 falls under suspicion , or are our heroes going to have to hunt down a rogue firefighter at another house? Either way, its not good news. What is good is that this plot provides more screen time for a character who doesnt always get a lot of it. Lets hope that the storyline isnt too rough on him, because it is obviously going to put him to the test!
