Chicago Fire What’s Inside You

Whats Inside You Finds Boden In A Scary Situation

Kidd Leads 51 to Save Two Men from a Roof | NBCs Chicago Fire

Whats supposed to be a barbecue cookout at Firehouse 51 turns into a mission to rescue Boden and innocent civilians from a hostage situation in Whats Inside You. Every once and a while its nice to step away from the everyday drama and watch a good ol filler episode. Usually, theyre the ones you skip over when doing a re-watch, but with Whats Inside You, thats not the case.

This weeks episode of Chicago Fire reminds us all why we love this show and its all because of Firehouse 51. As if we need another reason to explain why Boden is a fan favorite, his dedication to his job and the city of Chicago are exactly what makes him such a great leader and firefighter. Eamonn Walker absolutely knocked it out of the park this week and makes me want to give this man a big hug.

Bodens ability to form a connection and see through all the fear and anger with someone pointing a gun at his face is why he was the right man at the right place at the right time. There was no better person to be in that grocery store than him. And just to think if Severide hadnt mentioned to Boden about the Texas-style brisket for dinner, he wouldnt have stopped by the store for the fixins. Scary to think what wouldve been if he hadnt been there.

Oh, and I am totally with Chole When is the Stellaride wedding? I would just like to know so I can mark it down on my calendar. Thats all, thanks.

North Carolina Lawyer Dies Trying To Disarm Client Who Opened Fire Inside Law Firm Colleague Says

Patrick White was married with two children.

A North Carolina lawyer died after sacrificing himself trying to disarm a client who pulled out a revolver in the middle of a mediation session and began firing wildly, before turning the gun on himself, according to someone within the firm with knowledge of what happened.

The victim, who police identified Tuesday as Riddle & Brantley attorney Patrick White, was representing Francisco Sanchez and his wife, who had hired the firm to help them recover damages from a car accident, said the person, who spoke anonymously to ABC News so as not to violate attorney-client privilege.

The mediation, held Monday in an office at the firm’s Goldsboro location, had proceeded for roughly six hours and was going well, said the person, who was not in the meeting but understood that Sanchez “seemed very satisfied with the numbers” being discussed.

“There was nothing about this situation that led anyone to believe that anything would have happened here,” the person said, adding that the firm was close to finalizing a settlement that would have led Sanchez to pocket a seven-figure sum.

At one point, though, Sanchez stepped away with his wife, the person said. When he returned, “with no explanation whatsoever pulled out a revolver and started firing at people,” the person within the firm said.

According to the person, Sanchez fired twice into the office wall before White “dove on him and took two bullets trying to save other people.”

Sanchez was identified as a suspect in an incident report provided to ABC News by the Goldsboro Police Department. The report offered no details about what transpired.

In a statement, police said they responded Monday to a report of a shooting at the law firm.

“When officers arrived, they located two males in the business deceased from apparent gunshot wounds,” police said. “Officers secured the business and did not locate any additional victims. Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and troopers from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol also assisted at the scene. Officers were informed that one of the deceased subjects was the shooter.”

The person within Riddle & Brantley said the firm, which was the third to represent Sanchez in his pursuit of damages, “had some indications that the client had a temper” but did not believe he could do what he allegedly did during Monday’s meeting.

A clerk at the Pitt County Courthouse told ABC News that Sanchez had been represented until June by a law firm in Greenville.

In a statement, representatives from that firm, Ricci Law Firm, declined to comment about their experience with Sanchez.

“We are constrained by our ethical obligations on what we are allowed to share beyond what is already publicly available,” they said.

“We are saddened at the death of our colleague, Patrick White,” they added. “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and the entire Riddle and Brantley Firm.”

White was married with two children.

Chicago Fire Whats Inside You Spoilers Ahead

Theres a reason that Chicago Fireremains the heart of the One Chicago universe, and its by virtue of its characters. At the top of the list is Chief Wallace Boden, the pinnacle of a leader and proof that every successful workplace is only as good as whos on top.

When Bodens trip to the supermarket is interrupted by an active shooter, he does what he does besthe reasons and shows his heart, allowing the young man to eventually understand that theres plenty of heart still left in this world. Theres a lot about this episode that works, but it all boils down to the work Eamonn Walker puts in as Chief Boden, as well as the rest of the squad outside the store. The tension throughout is utterly harrowing, and the stakes are incredibly high, but somehow, when we make it to the end, its the type of rewarding episode that people will take about for days to come.

Many actors and characters in this series are irreplaceable, but Chicago Fires Whats Inside You makes it clear that theres no one like Chief Boden. The comforting presence that Walker consistently brings to the character is unmatched. Chicago Fire Revealed A Surprising Secret About Brett’s Replacement So How Long Is She Staying

Brett’s replacement had a big secret on Chicago Fire, and that may not be all that Emma is hiding.

Spoilers ahead for Episode 18 of Chicago Fire Season 10, called “What’s Inside You.”

Chicago Fire delivered a very big episode for Chief Boden, as promised by star Eamonn Walker, but “What’s Inside You” also dropped a reveal about none other than Emma Jacobs, a.k.a. Brett‘s paramedic replacement. It was inevitable that the show would find a “juicy” story for the new paramedic while Brett was away on her prolonged visit to Casey, but who could have guessed that one of the very first things she revealed about herself was a lie? And is she going to stick around?

Emma didn’t get a ton of focus in “What’s Inside You” until the end of the episode, when she was raving about all the excitement of working at Firehouse 51 to Violet, whose distraction due to the drama with her relationship with Chief Hawkins didn’t prevent her from warming up to her new partner. She established that Brett is supposed to be back in a month which is good news for fans of Kara Killmer‘s character but potentially bad news for Brettsey fans but mentioned that Boden could probably help her find a different exciting house.

I called admissions at Johns Hopkins, asked about Emma Jacobs… Had a hunch. She never attended that school… I’m telling you, there’s something off about her.

Cfd: 4 Hospitalized From Carbon Monoxide Poisoning In North Lawndale Cause Under Investigation

Truck 81 Rescues a Man Stuck in a Halloween Guillotine | NBCs Chicago Fire

After four occupants of a North Lawndale home were hospitalized for carbon monoxide poisoning, the Chicago Fire Department is sharing tips aout how to be safe.

CHICAGO — Four people were rushed to the hospital Thursday night after dangerously high carbon monoxide levels were found in a North Lawndale home, Chicago fire officials said.

The carbon monoxide scare serves as a warning to everyone.

Three of the four individuals transported to hospitals were in serious to critical condition.

CFD spokesman Larry Langford said CFD responded around 6 p.m. to the home in the 1800-block of South St. Louis for a person feeling sick on the first floor. As EMTs treated that person, they learned there was an 80-year-old woman on the second floor who had been unresponsive for “the whole day.”

They called in more help and when paramedics got to the second floor they found the elderly woman unresponsive and the crews’ carbon monoxide alarms started to alarm, indicated high levels in the home.

CFD tweeted their readings showed carbon monoxide near 500 parts per million. Over 101 parts per million is considered to be a dangerous level of carbon monoxide exposure. Levels this high are considered deadly, Langford said.

CFD said the home had no working carbon monoxide detectors and wants to warn the public about the dangers of this odorless and colorless gas as temperatures plunge.

Fans Dislike Emma’s Lies And Attitude

During “What’s Inside You,” Darren Ritter catches Emma in a pretty big lie: She didn’t attend Johns Hopkins University, the prestigious medical school she’d told everyone she’d matriculated at. That combined with the designs Emma seems to have on Brett’s spot have fans side-eyeing Emma big time.

Is it possible that Emma might catch wind of Violet’s secret relationship with Evan Hawkins and use the information against her? Both Violet and Hawkins are already on thin ice with department heads after being reported for making out while on duty during the events of “Hot and Fast,” and it wouldn’t take much more to get Violet in big trouble.

Several fans think that Emma might be trying to get Violet out of the way to preserve her position at Engine 51. “What if…..Emma tries sabotaging Violet in order to stay on ambo 61 when Brett returns,” asked @onechicagogurl. “Really didn’t like Emma whole facial expression when Violet told her she had no chance at 51 cuz it’s Brett’s place and she will be back soon! I have a feeling she will use any means to either push out Violet from 51 or Brett to get herself a place at 51,” said @BrettseyDaily.

Chicago Fire Spoilers: What Happened In Season 10 Episode 18

Things take a different turn on the latest episode of Chicago Fire. While previous stories focused on Cruz , Violet and Kidd , Whats Inside You decided to place the spotlight exclusively on Chief Boden and his handling of an incredibly tense situation.

More than any other episode in season 10, Whats Inside You relegates the ensemble cast to the background. It makes sense, given the close quarters and tense circumstances surrounding the plot.

Be warned that the rest of the post contains detailed spoilers for the latest episode of Chicago Fire!

Chicago Fire Fans Have Strong Feelings About Newcomer Emma

Gabby Dawson and Sylvie Brett

Contains spoilers for “Chicago Fire” Season 10, Episode 18

NBC’s Wednesday-night stalwart “Chicago Fire” has undergone a few cast shake-ups recently. Matt Casey departed the series during its 200th episode to raise Andy Darden’s sons in Oregon, requiring him to leave behind the city he loves. That forces his relationship with Sylvie Brett to become a long-distance one, complicating their connection. Sylvie has recently chosen to take a temporary leave of absence from her role as a field paramedic to be with Casey in Oregon. Stella Kidd has also returned to the fold after spending a couple of episodes in Boston.

To pick up a little bit of the narrative slack, a brand-new character has been introduced to the show: Caitlin Carver as Emma Jacobs, a paramedic who has taken Sylvie’s place on Ambulance 61 for the past couple of weeks while Sylvie has been out of town. She and Violet Mikami are the only women working on the transport, standing in the place where Gabriela Dawson and Leslie Shay once stood.

“Chicago Fire” fans are known for being strongly devoted to the show and its characters. And at the moment, they’re having a lot of strong feelings about Emma.

The Day Turned Upside Down

Severide tells Boden that hes grilling some brisket. Boden is thrilled, and tells Severide hes headed to the store, but will be back by lunch.

At the store, tracks down some seasoning. While glancing through them, Boden hears sirens and a loud crash, to see that a car has crashed into the building.

Boden watches from behind an aisle as the driver stumbles out of the car and shoots at the police. When the driver takes a few customers hostage, Boden stays hidden, and sees three more people hiding as well.

Back at the firehouse, Violet apologizes to Gallo for assuming he exposed her relationship with Chief Hawkins and repairs their relationship.

The firefighters watch the news report on the incident at the grocery store. The ambulance gets called out to the location, and Severide spots Bodens car in the parking lot on the TV.

Violet and Emma arrive, and Severide calls to ask if Boden is there. When Violet sees Bodens car in the lot, Severide sends the rest of Firehouse 51 out to help.

Wallace Boden Is A Hero

The thing that makes Boden a hero in my eyes isnt even all the stuff I already mentioned , but the fact that in the middle of such a delicate, scary situation, hes worried not just about every one of the hostages, but the shooter too. Because hes a person, and every person is worth saving.

Imagine how hard that is. To look at the person holding a gun at you, at other innocent people, and think he also deserves some grace. And the truth is, sometimes, that faith is misplaced. Not everyone is worth it. Not everyone will make the right decision. But wouldnt you rather grant it to everyone in the hopes you can help the one person who needs it? Isnt it better to save one person, even if that means there are a hell of a lot of other people who get more from you than they deserve?

For Wallace Boden, the answer is yes. And thats what makes him the kind of man, the kind of Chief, everyone looks up to. The kind that inspires people.
