How Did Anna Die On Chicago Pd
Escano somehow caught on to the fact that he was being tracked by authorities and went rogue. As a result, Anna feared for her life despite Voight’s insistence that he’d protect her, her son, and get her into witness protection. But we soon learn that a distrusting Anna escaped police protection and killed Escano at his bakery.
Voight and Halstead discover the dying cartel leader, who reveals with his last breath that Anna stabbed him. Desperate to keep Anna out of trouble, Voight officially goes “off the books” and tracks Anna down, all while making some highly questionable decisions in an attempt to cover up her crime. He eventually finds her and witnesses the informant get into a car accident. He confronts her, but she points a gun at him. At this point Anna is sleep deprived, paranoid, and afraid of the consequences that will come from killing Escano. Voight attempts to calm her down, insisting that he is there to help her. But a police siren spooks her, causing her to shoot Voight. Halstead and Upton return fire and shoot her, too.
A distraught Voight refuses to leave Anna’s side and rides with her in the ambulance to the hospital. Anna’s last words? “I’m sorry.”

Chicago Pd Season 9 Episode 9 Recap
The beginning of the new episode picked up right where the last one left off, with Halstead and North at the location of the body that was found.
North told Halstead that he had roughly 36 hours to give him Voight, or he was going to arrest Halstead and Upton.

As he was leaving his encounter with North, Halstead had an alert come through and he responded to a shooting on a bus. Two men had killed the driver and run off with a woman in tow. The initial theory was that sex trafficking might have been the reason they turned violent when the driver stopped the bus to check on the woman.
Intelligence began working on tracking down those three people and that left some time for Halstead and Voight to drive off and have a chat. Halstead told Voight everything about the FBI offer and Voight said that he would take care of it.
Halstead declined that offer, saying he was never going to be left in the dark again by Voight just handling things. They agreed to work together to solve the issue before Upton had to get involved.
The case of the bus driver progressed and Intelligence figured out where the trio was holed up. When they got there, they found the woman bleeding in a lot nearby with a man standing with her. She was overdosing because a balloon of drugs that she had ingested broke. It wasnt an abduction case at all, but rather two men using a woman as a mule to get drugs into Chicago.

Chicago Pd Season 9 Episode 18 Recap
As soon as Halstead and Torres were in his car for the first ride-along, a call came in of shots fire. They responded to a convenience store robbery, taking down the offender after a short foot pursuit.
Intelligence became part of a bigger case when it was discovered that the offender was in possession of an illegal firearm that tied to a larger investigation.
Halstead and Torres went in to speak with the offender, who clammed up at first. But Torres worked him well, showed some good instincts, and got the guy to admit where he had gotten the gun from.

As for Avalos, she wears a wire while meeting with the drug dealer Luis. Ultimately, Luis dies and Avalos admits to planting drugs in specific places to her benefit. While Voight couldve called off working with Avalos because of her deception, he doesnt. This seems to put a strain on Halstead and Voights working relationship.

Javier Escano has been a big target for Intelligence throughout Chicago PD Season 9. The team is closing in, but theres still a bit to go to cross that finish line.
The problem for Voight is that his informant, Anna, is starting to break. She has been undercover for months, but shes not the one who has had training for this. At least those in Intelligence have had training to be an undercover cop and stay in the role for a long period of time. Anna is a civilian simply trying to live her life.
This could make or break Anna. And she has to keep it together long enough to send Escano down for good.

Chicago Fire And Chicago Med Are Rumored To Have Holiday Episodes This Year
Its been a while since any of the One Chicago shows have had a holiday episode. Chicago Fire and Chicago Med have both been known to put out festive episodes in the past, and it seems like they will be back again this year.
Showrunner Derek Haas has already discussed the details of Chicago Fire Season 10 Episode 9 titled Winterfest. For the first time in years, as long as I can remember, were doing a holiday episode, Haas told TVLine. Episode 9 is going to make the Hallmark Channel jealous of our holiday episode.
The title for Chicago Med Season 7 Episode 9, Secret Santa Has a Gift for You, also hints that a holiday episode is in store.
According to , the episodes official description reads, The outcome of Halsteads investigation weighs heavily on his mind as he works with Scott to save an infant Hammer and Taylor both struggle to keep their secrets Marcel and Blake work with Abrams to save a patient in need of a liver transplant.
Although this episode of Chicago Med might have some holiday elements, it sounds like it will be considerably darker than what Haas has planned for Chicago Fire.

Chicago Pd Recap: Intelligence Brings On A New Recruit
The new episode of Chicago P.D. introduced a new character, with Intelligence taking on a new recruit for the night.
Benjamin Levy Aguilar played new recruit Dante Torres on the Chicago P.D. cast for the new episode called New Guard, and it was Jay Halstead who was put in charge of showing Torres the ropes.
Not a lot of back story was presented for Torres, other than the fact that he was a new graduate who claimed to be from all-around when he was asked by Halstead.
As a quick reminder, on the last episode of Chicago P.D., Ruzek went undercover to try to help out the daughter of a former teacher. During the case, he ended up being forced to take drugs that nearly killed him. There could be a lasting impact on him.
Chicago Pd Season 10 Cast
Heading into season 10, fans can expect all of their favorite Chicago PD cast members back at least for the start of the season. We say this because it has been announced that original cast member Jesse Lee Soffer will be departing the show sometime this fall. Additionally, it has been announced that Benjamin Levy Aguilar will be joining the show in a series regular role, reprising his role as patrol officer Dante Torres.

Chicago Pd Spoilers: What Happened In Season 9 Episode 9
Chicago PD is back with answers. The heat had been turned up on Voight , Halstead , and Upton , and it looked like all three cops were headed for a bad end.
The mid-season finale, titled A Way Out, balances the struggle to wiggle their way out of the Roy Walton killing and a case involving a drug runner and a shooting on a city bus.

What Happened On Chicago Pd Last Night
The episode resumes where the last one left off, as Halstead drives home from his meeting with the FBI. Hes torn over how to handle the Walton case, and he knows that if he plays it wrong it could mean the end of his career. Before he gets home, however, he witnesses a shooting on a city bus.
The team is called out to investigate the shooting, during which Halstead takes Voight aside and tells him about his ultimatum. Voight isnt shaken at all by the news, and sets about concocting a plan to get all three of them out of hot water.
Halstead and Voight eventually hit on a plan involving the brother of FBI Agent North . Halstead pretends to be a junkie looking to buy, and he convinces the brother to follow him to a space place. The place turns out to be where Voight is hiding, and he lays out a simple case of blackmail.
Voights angle is that Agent Norths brother is a repeat offender and that the agent has taken advantage of his position to get his brother out of legal troubles. Halstead is hesitant to turn to blackmail, knowing that his decision will nag him for the rest of his life.

Halstead drives home to a nervous Upton. He tells her that the blackmail was successful, and then he proposes that they get married immediately. She agrees, they make love, and they tie the knot in an intimate private ceremony.

Halstead Crosses The Line To Save Upton
The plan that Halstead carried out, with the assistance of Voight, was to entrap the brother of Agent North. The brother was living on the street and Halstead put him in a situation where he bought drugs from an undercover cop .

After two cops arrested the brother, they took him to Voight, who had a talk with him about the current situation. That talk began with lying about Agent North not coming to bail his brother out again.
The brother eventually told Voight that Agent North had gotten him out of charges three times in the past two years. This was obstruction of justice that Voight now felt they could use as leverage against North to get him to drop his case.
Intelligence solved their primary case of the episode, which involved tracking down the two drug smugglers and arresting them, even though one of them shot the other one. It was then time for Halstead to go meet with Agent North.
Before Halstead left, Voight pulled him aside, and he told Halstead to turn him in. Voight said he would be fine and that he didnt want to drag Halstead down with him. Halstead told Voight that he was good for the city and that they would continue paying a price for him, but that he wasnt going to turn on his boss.
