What Happened On Chicago Pd Last Night
The inciting incident of the episode is a shooting that takes place outside of one of Escanos bakeries. Escano merely wanted to cauterize the wound and leave it unreported, but Avalos stepped in and sewed up the wound instead.
Voight and company were watching Avalos during this incident, but her failure to use the safe word they had established led to them not doing anything. Besides, the opportunity proved a golden for Avalos to get closer to Escano and his operation. The gambit worked.
Voight goes to question the man who was shot in front the bakery, Adrian, but instead of give up information, the man points a gun at himself and threatens to shoot. Voight tries to talk him down, but he says he has to do it and pulls the trigger.
Its a devastating scene, not only because of what happens to Adrian but because of the implications of Escanos power. If hes in fact behind the whole thing, then nobody is safe around him. Least of all Avalos.

At least, thats what she thinks. Towards the end of the episode, Escano reveals that hes aware of Avalos past and the various things shes been through. He also says that hes aware of how much she knows about his real business. The fact that she knows and is still alive speaks volumes, and Escano makes it clear that hes giving her a tremendous amount of trust.

What Is The Subject Of Chicago Pd Season 9

It turns out that Escano is using his bakeries as a front for his cartel business, and Avalos is trying to help Voight and the rest of the gang break it up. Thats the main focus of the new Chicago PD episode, titled Closer. After several episodes focusing on the core lineup of officers, we get the return of Avalos and a plotline that uses the IU as more of a means to an end.

That’s the question on everyone’s mind as Chicago Fire Season 9 Episode 16 came to a close.
Severide, Cruz, Capp, and Tony are out of air, submerged underwater, and there’s nothing Truck 81 or Ambo 61 could do but watch the events unfold, fingers crossed that everything works out all right.
Realistically speaking, it’s unclear if the entire squad company would die if put in a situation like this.
However, this is television, and there’s no way the series would kill off four characters in one fell swoop like this, right?
Kidd: I love this house. When I get my lieutenants placement how am I ever going to find a house as good as this one?Severide: Im not gonna lie, its gonna be a tough search finding you the right house, but wherever you go, youll take a piece of 51 with you. Before Otis died on Chicago Fire Season 8 Episode 1, I’d have argued that this would have been a giant fakeout, similar to the aftermath on Chicago Fire Season 6 Episode 1 where multiple firefighters were in danger on Chicago Fire Season 5 Episode 22, but everyone managed to survive.
However, the series made a bold move when they killed off Otis, reminding us that no one is safe.
So the truth is someone could end up dying, but it’s likely only to be one character that’s killed off rather than all four of them.

Chicago Pd Season 9 Episode 15 Recap
Episode 15 of Chicago PD Season 9 came out on 9th March 2022, and it was titled Gone. The episode began with Kim and Adam searching the apartment for Makayla after finding her babysitter Gabby on the floor covered in blood after getting shot. Kim found a syringe in Makaylas bedroom and told Adam that she was kidnapped after being drugged. Since Gabby didnt survive, the two of them called in backup and rushed to find the men downstairs, but the men had escaped. After that, they took a look at the CCTV footage from the building and saw the two men and got their description from some neighbors. In the meantime, Voight, Jay, Hailey, Kevin, Trudy, and the other police officers arrived. After getting evidence from the apartment, Voight told everyone to keep this between them and work silently.
After that, the team went out to Theos house to take him in for interrogation since he was seen at Makaylas school waiting for 30 minutes, raising a suspicion against him since he had lost custody of Makayla. In the interrogation room, things got heated up, and Adam was about to beat up Theo, but Voight and Jay stopped him. After looking at Theos phone, the team learned that he had already received a text and call for ransom money from the kidnappers.

Chicago Pd Season 9 Episode 1: New Episode Is Last One Before Break
Chicago P.D. has a new episode on March 16 that is called Closer. It takes the show back to the investigation into bakery owner Javier Escano, who Voight has been watching very closely.
On the last episode of Chicago P.D., Intelligence was tasked with finding the abducted Makayla. It led to a lot of very tense moments, especially for Ruzek and Burgess, but they succeeded in bringing the little girl home.
Following that episode, some small spoilers were hinted at for the Ruzek-Burgess relationship, but that storyline is likely going to be put on hold while the team refocuses on an earlier case.
With this new episode, Chicago P.D. fans are going to see the return of Anna Avalos, who has been undercover for a while working at one of the bakeries where it is assumed that drugs are getting moved. As a reminder, she is Voights lead informant right now.

Weve seen the writers deliver some powerful stuff this season, but weve also bounced all over the place and juggled a few different stories at once. As we get closer and closer to the finale, its our personal hope that we will start to things coalesce and solidify leading up to a few, all-important reveals. In the end, we do think it would benefit the show to have just one or two things to leave us speculating about when the dust settles.

Voight and his team were continually working on Escanos case, looking for any form of proof that would link him to all of the murders he ordered. Meanwhile, a masked guy shot another man close outside Cárabo Bakery, where Anna worked covertly for Escano, attempting to gain access to his organization. As usual, Jay and Hailey were outside keeping an eye on everything. Jay dashed out to apprehend the shooter and returned fire, as Hailey attempted to care for the man who had been injured. He did, however, ask Hailey to assist his pregnant girlfriend in the car. While trying to keep her cover, Anna stepped out to assist, appearing as if she didnt know Hailey at all. Later, the team gathered more about the victim and discovered that he had been clean since he was released on good behavior from jail and had had no contact with the gunman. The man, however, did not survive and died in the hospital. Anna, on the other hand, attempted to obtain information from Escano about any developments in the incident. When the shooter, Adrian, arrived at the bakery, their chat was cut short, and Escano begged Anna to tend to his wounds. He then requested that she drop Adrian down at his place and take care of him.

After the previous week’s draining episode, which kept fans on the edge of their seats for the entire hour, this week, the cop drama will return with a complicated murder case that has links to an individual who is constantly under tight surveillance, which makes matters difficult.
From the promo, you can see that Hank Voight will be the man in the spotlight yet again. The police captain has had less and less screentime since the show returned. This will be a welcome change for fans of Jason Beghe.
