Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Downtown/River North offers all of the amenities you would expect from a Marriott. A three-star hotel, it offers a nice indoor pool and fitness center and clean, comfy rooms. It has coin laundry on site, which can make extended stays easy. Check the prices at nearby luxury hotels before booking. Marriott is great, but if you can get a four-star hotel for the same price, why not upgrade?

Comfy bed, nice shower. Had a view of the other buildings and could people watch. The tvs were nice and big. The facilities offered, microwave, fridge, ironing board were awesome. The staff were extremely nice, knew places for us to go, talked to us as another person not as an employee.
The guy that checked me in was excellent friendly and the bailair guy was excellent and also friendly.
The hotel was in a perfect location for walking or taking the train for site seeing. It’s also surrounded by lots of restaurants and bars. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very spacious and clean, equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. The rooms also looked recently renovated. We were allowed to check in early, check out late and they stored our luggage after check out.
We loved the convenience of a restaurant/bar inside of the hotel, as well as the eateries within walking distance. Additionally, the front desk receptionist was awesome . That definitely doesn’t always happen. Normally, we’re notified once awakened by drills, furniture moving, etc…so happy she let us know.

Fabulous Location And Nice Renovation Stay Clear Of Peter The Bellman
The hotel is 2 blocks from N Clark street with every good restaurant you could ask for. A Jazz club is across the street and the hotel is walking distance to Art Institute and Water Tower shopping. All of the front desk personnel are great. John, the bellman, is a true gentleman. There was only one downside and that was Peter, another bellman. We were 4 ladies traveling together and he came on VERY STRONG every time we saw him, including invading our personal space. He tried to pressure us in to taking “his” driver to the airport. We felt ambushed every time we passed him and he even called my friends phone!!!More
