  Cloud Gate is a public sculpture by Indian-born British artist Sir Anish Kapoor, that is the centerpiece of AT& T Plaza at Millennium Park in the Loop community area of Chicago, Illinois. The sculpture and AT& T Plaza are located on top of Park Grill, between the Chase Promenade and McCormick Tribune Plaza & Ice Rink. Constructed between 2004 and 2006, the sculpture is nicknamed The Bean because of its shape. Made up of 168 stainless steel plates welded together, its highly polished exterior has no visible seams. It measures 33 by, and weighs 110 ST.

Important information that you need to know before you book!

Good for business

Home away from home when in Chicago for work. Very affordable, mediocre breakfast. Cleaning protocols were better back in May 2021. Staff is nice, but I never recovered a simple left behind item despite calling as soon as I left and talking to someone who assured me it would be there when I was back the following week. Ive inquired 5 times since with no luck.

The customer service, room condition and experience was absolutely terrible. Total disaster. As a loyal customer Im disgusted to have stayed at this property. The room was not clean at all at check in. The front desk refused to bring new items to replace dirty ones. The front desk yelled at me for all the poor customer service he and his staff provided.

The hotel was clean, excellent bed, great amenities and free breakfast. But the customer service, that was amazing. Our trip was cut short due to a family emergency. They were able to accommodate our leaving early and make us feel cared for. James at the front desk was exceedingly kind.

Home2 Suites by Hilton is tucked in the heart of the River North district just blocks from Magnificent Mile and many of Chicagos most popular attractions, like the unparalleled views at 360 Chicago observation deck at the John Hancock building. Water Tower Place is just a miles walk away, as is the famed Navy Pier and the summer-ready Oak Street Beach. Rush Street Nightlife, the Theater District and all of the River North restaurants are in reach as well, so theres always something to do or eat. The Museum of Contemporary Art, Water Tower Place, and Merchandise Mart are all about a half-miles walk, as well.

The Godfrey Hotel, Hotel Felix and Aloft Chicago Downtown River North are competing hotels in the area. Home2 Suites can be a touch more expensive, but youre getting a full suite and kitchen with your stay.
