Bensenville for me was a good distance from my event at the McCormick Place downtown Chicago. Although the shuttle at the hotel I stayed at made commuting daily to downtown easier the CTA was horrible. If you’re traveling for business and the area is close to your activities and you dont need sites, food variety, etc. then stay in Bensenville.
If You Don’t Drive If You Are Just Staying For One
If you don’t drive, if you are just staying for one night, if you are not looking for any nice place to eat within walking distance, if you are ok with basic facilities, this hotel is a very good choice.Shuttle bus is always operated by only one driver, so you may need to wait about 30 minutes. Please ask the reception how long you may have to wait. I called twice to see how long to wait.There are only three places to eat around the hotel within walking distance. Subway, Burger king and a local pub restaurant.

Perfect Location For Travellers
Perfect location for travellers. Proximity to the airport, there is a shuttle bus available departing every half hour. The room price was extremely low, the room is actually a suite, huge, with a bedroom and a separate living room with sofa and tv. No delay for transportation to the airport, no loss of time, I would go again to this hotel. It has to be noted that right now the main hall of the hotel is under renovation. If this hotel gets renovated it is completely upper class.

Chicagos OHare International Airport is just 18 miles from downtown and the Blue Line el train makes it very convenient to travel to and from the Loop and the fifth busiest airport in the world. If your plans make it necessary to stay near the airport, hotel accommodations and attractions are plentiful in the area making it just as convenient to stick around.
Hilton Chicago OHare is the only hotel on airport property so if youve arrived late or need to leave early, this hotel is a safe bet. Several hotels nearby, including those in the city next door, Rosemont, offer free shuttle service to their hotel and the airport including the Westin OHare, Crowne Plaza Chicago OHare and Four Points by Sheraton OHare.
Since the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont is so near , welcoming thousands of visitors for special events, the dining and entertainment options are pretty outstanding considering youre near an airport. There also are plenty of things to do and places to eat within Rosemont.
Located directly across from the convention center and easily accessible by enclosed walkways are the Doubletree and Embassy Suites .

Scheduled passenger service began in 1955, but growth was slow at first. Although Chicago had invested over $25 million in O’Hare, Midway remained the world’s busiest airport and airlines were reluctant to move until highway access and other improvements were completed. The April 1957 Official Airline Guide listed 36 weekday departures from the airport, while Midway had 414. Improvements began to attract the airlines: O’Hare’s first international terminal opened in August 1958, and by April 1959 the airport had expanded to 7,200 acres with new hangars, terminals, parking and other facilities. The expressway link to downtown Chicago, now known as the Kennedy Expressway, was completed in 1960. And new Terminals 2 and 3, designed by C. F. Murphy and Associates, opened on January 1, 1962.
O’Hare had four runways in 1955 8,000 foot runway 14R opened in 1956 and was extended to 11,600 feet a few years later, allowing nonstops to Europe. Runway 9R/27L opened in 1968 and runway 4R/22L in 1971.

Easy Access To The Hi
Easy access to the hi-way or use Grand Ave. to get downtown. I personally hate the stop and go on the expressways and at certain times it takes much longer to get from one place to another than the nice trip through town on Grand. The very quiet neighborhood where the hotel is located is a huge plus. You really will enjoy the good breakfast and if you like to workout their exercise room is really great.
They Charged Us More Than We Were Expecting
They charged us more than we were expecting. When I booked hotel online, booking.com was telling me that your hotel charges will be 300 with taxes in but they charged us 330 at time of check in. Even in rooms there were no soaps, rooms were congested too. I will not use this website again to book my hotels.
