The Permit Approval Process
When you submit your application, one of our sewage inspectors will review it to make sure that it is complete before accepting the application. Once your application has been accepted, the inspector will review the application to make sure the design meets the Ontario Building Code requirements. The inspector will also conduct a site inspection to make sure that the details on the application are accurate. If the application meets the Ontario Building Code requirements, Public Health Sudbury & Districts will issue a permit.
Please note: You cannot start any construction before receiving your approved permit.

Breakfast great. Location good. Everyone expects it on ground floor but I enjoyedit once I got there
Ideal location for United Center and train for airport/town centre
the location was great, although it was not in the downtown is quite easy to arrive it by subway, whose station is less than 100 m of the hote entrance or less than 50 m of two buses stop.the rooms are wide, confortable and for me is positive to get coffee in the room
Very beautiful hotel with clean facilities and nice staff.
Everything it was closet to the United Center. And it was very clean and cozy.
I liked the location and that there’s parking.
The location is great, about 10-15 minutes walk away from United Center. There is an actual pull-out sofa bed, so a studio room is spacious enough to fit 4 people. The room looks renovated and is very clean. They serve free hot breakfast . The front-desk staffs are very friendly and helpful.
the bed was fantastic!! plus the building was the old Cook County Hospital. Fascinating history!
Lovely converted building, used to be a hospital. Hallways are more like an art gallery. it was probably the quietest hotel weve stayed at. Staff were friendly. Breakfast is included. Our room had full small kitchen and even a dishwasher.

The building itself is beautiful. Staff was very nice and helpful. And it is a 5 minute walk from a train station that can take you downtown.
Breakfast,staff, and the facility were wonderful. Hotel was far from things we wanted to do in Chicago, and the parking was expensive.
Friendly, polite and helpful staff. A clean and well organised hotel.
Clean rooms. Great decor. Good location. Quiet hotel. The fact that there was a food court on the ground floor of the hotel was a bonus.
The breakfast is various and good. I really love it. And they also nice and friendly.
The rooms are big and very spacious.The location is very convinent for touring the city.The food court in the hotel gives you good solution if you hungry.

I really liked that the parking garage was only $5 and the walk is short. But I liked a lot that we could leave our car on the street.
The parking wasn’t available so I had to pay other parking

Initial Site Inspection And Application Review
Once an application is accepted, it will be reviewed and the public health inspector will conduct a site inspection. For the site inspection, the location of property lines and all proposed sewage system components must be clearly marked out on the site. Test holes must be excavated in the proposed location of the sewage system. The site inspection and application review will assess the application for:
- compliance with the Ontario Building Code and Building Code Act
- compliance with any applicable by-laws
- completeness of design
If the public health inspector determines that the design does not meet Ontario Building Code requirements, the applicant will be advised of the issue. The applicant will need to amended their application and resubmit it.
