Tabler V Panera Llc Et Al
In March 2019, a class action lawsuit was filed by Plaintiff Brianna Tabler in California, accusing Panera of false advertising and fraud. While Panera’s former CEO Ron Schaich claimed that Panera’s menus continue to be completely void of artificial flavors, sweeteners, and ingredients, Tabler argues against the company’s intentional redaction of the fact that their products contain traces of the synthetic biocide glyphosate. In October 2019, Judge Lucy Koh granted a motion to dismiss the lawsuit. Tabler filed an amended complaint in November 2019, to which Panera filed in January 2020 another motion to dismiss. Tabler filed a motion to voluntarily dismiss the complaint on July 30, 2020, closing the case.

Beverly Panera Bread Closing Alderman Says Minimum Wage Hike Played Role
CHICAGO A Panera Bread in Beverly will soon be closing its doors for good, and Ald. Matthew O’Shea said the minimum age hike Tuesday played a role.
“Is minimum wage a contributing factor? Yes. Is it the sole reason? Absolutely not,” the alderman told DNAinfo Chicago Wednesday.
O’Shea said officials at Panera Bread, 2314 W. 95th St., talked to him for weeks about possibly leaving, and when the City Council’s vote on the minimum wage was announced Tuesday, Panera representatives told him they would not be renewing their lease.
The City Council voted 44-5 to raise the minimum wage to $13 an hour over the next five years. O’Shea, who supported raising the minimum wage at a federal or state level, was one of five votes against the council measure to raise the minimum wage in the city.
“Panera is 100 feet from the suburbs,” O’Shea said adding that the close proximity suburban Evergreen Park might lure businesses to literally move across the street.
O’Shea said Panera wasn’t the only business considering leaving. Prior to Tuesday’s vote, several businesses along 95th Street, Western Avenue and all over the area told him if the minimum wage was raised they’d have “difficult decisions to make,” he said.
“After yesterday’s news we’re going to see other businesses making transitions, whether that means closing their doors or moving across the street to the suburbs,” he said Wednesday.

Reviews For Panera Bread
I enjoy the food & service. I purchase a turkey & avocado sandwich at least 2x a week. But SOMETIMES there’s no avocado sometimes yes. One time the avocado was SO HARD! If you don’t want to give avocado, then take it out of the title & I won’t expect it. PROBABLY STOP PATRONIZING YOUR BUSINESS! I SHOULD BE REIMBURSED!
Food meets expectations for Panera brand. However this restaurant is filthy. All tables were used and dirty so we cleaned our own table to be able to eat here. Dirty dishes were stacked at both trash cans. The floor needed to be swept too. Workers were sitting near pickup counter not tending to any of this mess. The greasy handprints on the entry/exit door almost made me lose my lunch.
Just went to the drive thru. Order a pick 2, half a sandwich and a lemonade. Got charge $26 dollars. And guess was my bad not to check what i got, but they only gave me the lemonade and the pick 2. Im missing half sandwich. They take 20 minutes to give an order in drive thru you will think is going to be fine plus all the line behind you, you just want to leave
