Our Family Loves The 2 Bedroom Suites
The two bedroom suites work great for our family and are cheaper than two rooms. My parents can stay in one room and our young children and us in the other. The central living space gives us a nice place to visit and eat and to hang out once the kids are in bed or for the early risers. The three separate spaces are nice for naptime / quietime.The pool was nice and warm and they provided balls and noodles to play with. The continental breakfast had a lot of options. The staff was very friendly. There was a decent lounge area next to the breakfast tables. We had no problems. I’d highly recommend it.

Great Hotel For The Price
The Resident Inn was a great hotel for the price. The suite was very comfortable and liked the fact that it had a kitchen. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was not totally satisfied with the maid service. We were still in bed when they knocked on the door and did not say that they were the maid service. My daughter was on the sofa bed and was somewhat embarrassed. That was probably the only aspect that I would say was not satisfactory. Otherwise, I really liked the hotel. The location is perfect. There is a mall right behind the hotel and also a lot of restaurants.

Manager, Becca and Assistant Manager, Molly were great. Helped me with my group.
We could have our dog with us and they had doggie do do bags out in the yard!!
When I first checked-in, the room didn’t have a full range stove. I was able to immediately switch to a room that did have one. The staff was nice, and the room was super clean. I really liked that it came with dishes too . Of course I washed them before I used them, but I was happy it came stocked. Bloomingdale was nice. I took my boys for a nice walk to a nearby park , and met some really nice families while there. There are lots of stores just minutes away, so I was able to do grocery shopping so I could cook in my room. There is even a major shopping mall behind the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return. It was a nice getaway from busy, noisy Chicago.
I loved how the room was set up and how clean it was. Everything was beautiful and put together well.

Fantastic Can’t Wait To Go Back
We do alot of traveling and this was by far the very best hotel we have ever stayed in. We are making this one our regular forever. Spotless, great location, great breakfast selection, plenty of towels, hot water, etc. We could not have asked for a more perfect place and will make this our regular, not only in this city but in others!

Not The Same As Others
This hotel needs a total revamp. I was very disappointed with the condition of this hotel based on my experience at other Residence Inn’s. I was there for a funeral and requested an early check in. Even after several phone calls and showing up at the hotel our check in was delayed and we were late for the wake. They finally gave us another room but the overall condition of the hotel and the room was disappointing. the breakfast was sub par, counter tops and floors were sticky and there wasn’t enough seating. The hotel is simple worn out and although the staff were friendly, they lacks a motivation to step it up a notch. I would not stay there again and I will be skeptical and dig a little deeper when looking to book at another Residence Inn that I may not be familiar with. which is unfortunate since we had fantastic experience at other locations.
