Best location for a Chicago Getaway!

We spent 6 nights at this hotel and absolutely loved it. Very friendly & professional staff. The rooms are pretty standard, but the location is superb, and if our room had view of the river it was stunning! We had a car but because the hotel in such great location we only took the car out for one day and kept it in nearby garage the entire week. We walked everywhere, so many dining options nearby, we took the metro which station is so close to hotel. We had access to the Club Lounge and the attendant who’s there serving breakfast is very professional. The lobby bar has a spacious outdoor with view of the river too and waitstaff were super helpful. My only complaint is the hotel should have staff routinely check the hallways. People leave leftover food plates, glasses, wine bottles, food boxes by their door and it would sit in the hallway for 2-3 days…I guess when there used to be room service it would regularly be picked up but doesn’t seem to be the case now. Oh..and the room could use some maintenance…our closet door fell off the hinges twice!
