- 2007 -11 Camry is pretty solid. Look for leaking/seeping power steering and trans cooler hoses. These need screw down clamps. Listen for piston slap. If the car has had timely oil changes, it should be good. But this is rarely documented. Ive recently looked at 11 of them with 90k to 130kabout half had piston slap. 7 had leaking hoses. The SEs struts were still good. The SE / SLE were boat floaty.. the leather seats are very hard.. if you see many tiny flecks in the windshield, its been highway driven a lot. I Rx staying away from any that dont hav3e documented 5k oil changes. Most dealers keep the tire pressure danger low. Air them up to really feel it. I always evaluate the flex exhaust connectio to Evan rust. If thing is rusty, move on. Quick look- if brake calipers look rusty, keep looking. Any reddish stains on carpet, its rusting from inside.
- Car has more features than I will ever use. Bought it because of generally excellent ratings by other owners. So far, I like the smooth, quiet ride. The ergonomics are just right for me.

Found a car through Capital One Auto Loan Navigator. I was approved for the dealer price they provided to Capital One, which differed from the one on their website. I pointed this out and was told the owner would have to decide if the price they provided to Capital One pre-loan would be honored or if it was simply bait. The owner would not honor the price. Without telling me this, Ttey sent the bank a loan request for $2000 over the advertised price provided to Capital One. This discrepancy caused the loan to require a $2500 down payment. Oldest trick in the book: bait & switch. I suggest not listing your cars in different places for different prices. You blamed the bank, but you work together, so the price shouldve been honored. Extremely disappointed.
