What Format Is Right For Me
Our innovative remote format transcends the standard online learning experience by incorporating synchronous sessions such as simulations, case study group work, and networking, and asynchronous engagement with pre-recorded lectures. The remote learning experience is designed to help students achieve the same learning outcomes as in-person classes through collaborative and engaged learning.
In a hybrid format, some learning activitiessuch as full-class discussions with the instructorwill allow in-person and remote students to participate in the same activity concurrently and work together. At other times, students in different modalities may work separately: remote students will collaborate with other remote students, while in-person students will work with one another.

Select courses are offered online, and offerings vary each semester.

What Our Students Say
The flexibility of the program is enormous. I can download content before I do traveling. In my job its about 90% travel. Whether its listening to downloaded lectures in the car, or on the plane, in the train. I always have something to do to be productive.
Would I have had incredible relationships across waters, across continents with other folks? NO! If it were not for this program, I would not have had that. And really if you think about it, we should have that experience because heres what the world represents if we think about diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility. It represents people from all different backgrounds, so we should be having this experience. So the iMBA in my mind, was ahead of the curve.
Jackie Price Osafo
I started researching more about what this program stands for and what they are trying to do. Not only the folks who are privileged but those who are coming from marginalized backgrounds can also get access to the same quality education that Gies is giving. That really shows a big purpose. Being a part of a school which has a goal which is much more ahead than just transactional business was something more meaningful to me.

Career Outlook With An Mba In Chicago
A healthy portion of the top-ranked online MBA programs in Illinois operate out of Chicago or its surrounding suburbs. As such, Chicago serves as a hub for in-state students looking to pursue online degrees in the field. For more information about the Land of Lincoln’s online MBA options, please consult the Illinois state page on this website.
Furthermore, students looking to pursue employment in Chicago after they graduate can benefit from pursuing an MBA in the city. Many of Chicago’s business schools maintain connections with local employers, and students can intern or work for local companies while completing their education. Chicago also houses several professional organizations that offer benefits such as conferences, professional development, and continuing education, allowing students to grow and network while still in school.
Online students can also benefit from pursuing an online MBA at one of Chicago’s schools. Chicago’s cost of living is higher than anywhere else in the state, so in-state students can often save money by living at home and taking online courses. By doing so, these students can pay in-state tuition, continue working at their jobs, and save money on expensive housing costs that they would need to pay if they attended on-campus programs in Chicago.
