Sat Subject Test Requirements
Schools vary in their SAT subject test requirements. Typically, selective schools tend to require them, while most schools in the country do not.
We did not find information that University of Illinois at Chicago requires SAT subject tests, and so most likely it does not. At least 6 months before applying, you should still doublecheck just to make sure, so you have enough time to take the test.

The University of Illinois at Chicago is pleased to share the Annual Security & Fire Safety Report with all prospective students. Is Financial Aid Available
Yes, financial aid may be available for domestic degree-seeking students. International students may seek out private or third party loans. All students are eligible for university payment plans that allow you to break up your tuition into monthly payments. Please keep in mind that students are only billed each semester for the classes they are enrolled in there is no upfront payment of tuition.â

University of Illinois at Chicago Application Deadline/Closing Date for 2021 for the regular undergraduate applicants. 2021 UIC Application Begins in January 2021 and closes in December 2021. Therefore all qualified applicants are advised to apply now.

Middle 50 Percent Of The Admitted Fall 2021 First
The values listed below represent the middle 50 percent of students who were admitted to UIC last year. They are not cut-offs for admission. In fact, 25 percent of admitted students fell below these ranges and 25 percent above.
- Last year was also UIC’s first year allowing a test-optional pathway for admission and about two-thirds of applicants chose to be reviewed without a test score. We have split the profile into a test-optional profile and a test-inclusive profile.

Visa Process For Admitted Students
Financial documents for visa processing are requested by the Office of International Services. Applicants may begin submitting OIS-requested documents online through the application system checklist during the application period, however, they do not need to be submitted until after an admission decision is made.
OIS document requests and visa processing do not affect application review or admission decisions.

When Are Decision Dates For University Of Illinois At Chicago Transfer Applicants
If you applied to transfer to UIC on or before the reported deadlines then you should have your decision date by the notification dates in the below table.
Additionally, of the 3365 accepted transfer students, 2080 students enrolled – that means the yield was 61.81%.

Plan Your High School Coursework
While not required for admission, completed coursework in the subject areas listed below can make prospective first-year applicants more competitive.

- Take advantage of honors, AP, or IB and other college preparatory courses offered at your high school. When reviewing course rigor, our review team takes into consideration the coursework available at your high school.
- Submit letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors, or extracurricular activity supervisors.
- Submit the Common Application mid-year report when your first semester grades from senior year become available.
International Applicants Are Those Where Any Of The Following Statements Apply:
- You would need a student visa to study in the U.S.
- You are currently in the U.S. on a student visa at another institution.
- You are currently in the U.S. on a non-student visa, such as an H1B, H4, B1, etc.
International applicants are held to the international application deadlines, as applicable for their intended program of study.

Fall Admissioncourses Start In August
Students can apply for fall admission through the Common Application beginning in August of each year.
Applicants will be considered for all priority merit scholarships offered by the institution. Students will be notified of their merit scholarship award with admission. Notification begins in December.
Early Action I
The deadline to be considered for Camras, Duchossois, Crown, and Leadership Academy Scholarship programs. Students will be notified of their merit scholarship award with admission. Notification begins in December.
Early Action II
The deadline to be considered for the Chicago Pledge, Collens, VEX, and FIRST scholarship programs. Students will be notified of their scholarship award with admission. Notification begins in February.
The deadline to receive priority residence hall placement and early academic advising. All students will still be considered for merit scholarships. Decisions are released within 2 weeks of receiving completed application materials.
Applications submitted after March 1 will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please note that we cannot guarantee funding, residence hall placement, or early academic advising for applications received after our regular decision deadline.

Honors College applicants
Honors College applicants must be admitted as undergraduates prior to review and include the following with their application:

International applicants must meet the core transfer requirements as well as display evidence of English competency and financial certifications. See Undergraduate International Admissions Requirements for details.
Applicants with foreign credentials
A mandatory, non-refundable $100 International Credential Evaluation Fee is assessed for all undergraduate degree-seeking applicants who have post-secondary coursework taken outside the United States. International applicants who have only U.S. coursework are not required to submit this fee. Study abroad coursework by U.S. students is excluded from this policy. The fee is assessed once per application term. Payment of the fee will be requested online through the application system.
Applicants with fewer than 36 hours at time of enrollment
Sat/act Writing Section Requirements
Both the SAT and ACT have an optional essay section.
University of Illinois at Chicago considers the SAT Essay/ACT Writing section optional and may not include it as part of their admissions consideration. You don’t need to worry too much about Writing for this school, but other schools you’re applying to may require it.
